As a little girl, I dreamed of what it would be like to be an adult– to stay up late and play with all these fancy beauty products my mom had. Now, I take pleasure with playing with my own beauty products and going to bed early. Being an adult can be exhausting.
Recently, I posted a nighttime beauty routine but since then, I have purchased a few new products that I’m loving. I’m always trying new products especially in the winter months since that’s when my skin feels more dull and dry. Keep in mind that this is my daily routine and I’ll post a more extensive skincare like when I do my face masks, exfoliate, etc.
I love having lavender in the bathroom and in my room. I love the smell and it brings a nice, relaxing atmosphere in your home.
To wash my face, I use Bioderma Purifying Cleansing Foaming Gel. It is very gentle on the skin and it doesn’t dry it out which is so important. It also cleans off makeup but I usually use Bioderma Makeup Removing Micelle Solution for makeup remover.
I purchased the Estēe Lauder Advanced Night Repair Intensive Recovery Ampoules serum since my mother always raves about it. I recommend it if your skin is looking a bit dull and dry. The smell is a little off-putting BUT it makes your skin soft and glow the next morning sooo totally worth the smell. Along with this product, I got two samples of the Synchronized Recovery Complex II serum and the night repair eye cream. The serum is for fighting the signs of aging and it’s never too early to prevent signs of aging. I mean, I’m not getting younger ;). The eye cream is my absolute favorite. It is so smooth and light. I’m not a fan of eye cream feeling heavy on your under eyes so this eye cream is great and feels great. It also helps with puffiness and dark circles.
Before bed, I show love to my hands and feet by applying Aēsop Resurrection Aromatique Hand Balm and L’Occitane Foot Cream.
Favorite body oil and moisturizer
Body feels so smooth
Smells amazing
While I get ready for bed, I love having a candle burning and a cup of tea ready. After doing my skincare routine and I’m tucked into bed, I grab one of the books from my nightstand (those are the ones I’m currently reading) and I drink my tea and have that time for myself. No phone or laptop– just me and a book.
My perfect night x
What do you do to get ready for bed? I’ll love to hear from you!
Love always,
